House of Lords European Affairs Committee held an inquiry into the implications of Russia's invasion of Ukraine. The inquiry looked beyond immediate crisis management towards the handling of longer-term issues.

The committee called for witnesses to provide oral evidence. The discussion focused on topics such as UK-EU cooperation and sanctions, the EU's developing defence policy, future reconstruction of Ukraine, and changes in the EU's wider approach to external affairs.
